Fira- is the picturesque capital of the island; perched high up on the edge of the Caldera, it looks like a marvelous painting. It has traditional architecture and lounge nightlife. Firá, togetherwith Oia, Imerovígli and Firostefáni located high above on a cliff, make up the so-called “Caldera’s eyebrow”, the balcony of Santorini, which offers an amazing view of the volcano.
Oia Village - Oia is the most beautiful village in Santorini, located on the northern side of the island. It is famous for its romantic sunset and the picturesque architecture.
Red Beach - The famous Red Beach is located on the southern side of the island. It distinguishes for the red sand and the red cliffs that surround this bay. Next to the Red Beach is the White Beach.
Active Volcano - In the centre of the sunken caldera is the volcano,that remains active till today. Boat tours from the old port of Fira go to the volcano and the hot springs.
Minoan Site of Akrotiri - The Minoan Site of Akrotiri is one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece. This town was covered by volcanic ashes from the eruption of Thera
Religious Monuments -.It is estimated that 600 churches were built on the island most of them after the 1956 earthquake.50 of these churches are considered to Virgin Mary.
Wineries - Wine production is high quality due to the volcanic elements of the land. Many wineries are open to visit on the island. Very famous is Santos Winery with the amazing caldera view.
Sunset View - Santorini is famous for its romantic sunsets. The best sunset on the island is seen from Oia, but equally gorgeous are the sunsets from all the caldera villages.
